Account To Account Transfers

APCU makes it safe and easy to transfer money to/from your APCU account(s). With just a couple clicks, you can move money between your APCU accounts, your external accounts, and even between friends and family!

Internal Transfers*

Internal Transfers are a free, convenient and secure way to transfer money between APCU accounts. APCU does not charge a fee for this service. Simply log-in to APCU's Internet Branch or Mobile App to enjoy the many benefits Internal Transfers, including the ability to:

  • Setup one-time and recurring transfer options
  • Schedule a transfer for a future date
  • View the status and history of transfer requests
  • Add a memo to the transfer transaction

Internal Transactions are as easy as 1-2-3! Simply:

  1. Log into APCU's Mobile App, CU Center
  2. Push "Make a transfer"
  3. Complete the requested fields and push "Transfer"

OR

  1. Log into APCU's Internet Branch
  2. Under the "Move Money" tab, select the type of Internal Transfer you would like to perform
  3. Follow the prompts

External Transfers*

External Transfers are a free, convenient and secure way to transfer money from your APCU accounts to an account you have at another financial institution. APCU does not charge a fee for this service. Simply log-in to APCU's Internet Branch and/or Mobile App to enjoy the many benefits External Transfers, including the ability to:

  • Setup one-time and recurring transfer options
  • Schedule a transfer for a future date
  • View the status and history of transfer requests

Performing an External Transfer is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply:

  1. Log into APCU's Mobile App
  2. Push "More" at the bottom right of the menu bar on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
    For Android devices, push the three (3) horizontal lines (≡) located in the top left of the screen.
  3. Select "External Transfer" and follow the prompts

OR

  1. Log into APCU's Internet Branch
  2. Under the "Move Money" tab, select the type of External Transfer you would like to perform
  3. Follow the prompts

Popmoney®**

Popmoney is a safe and convenient way of sending, requesting, and receiving money between individuals. Not only can you use Popmoney to pay virtually anyone, but you can also use it to send money as a gift. All it takes is a few clicks. Simply log into APCU's Internet Branch and/or Mobile App to take advantage of this service. Benefits of Popmoney include the ability to:

  • Send money to an individual using their mobile phone number, email address, or account information**
  • Easily request money from a person or group of people using their email address(es) or mobile phone number(s)**
  • Setup one-time and recurring payment options
  • Schedule a payment for future date
  • Choose next business day payments or standard, three (3) business day payments
  • Enter a note to yourself, as well as a message to the recipient(s)
  • Track the status and history of payments

Accessing Popmoney via APCU's Internet and/or Mobile Branch is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply:

  1. Log into APCU's Mobile App
  2. Push "More" at the bottom right of the menu bar on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
    For Android devices, push the three (3) horizontal lines (≡) located in the top left of the screen.
  3. Select "Popmoney" and follow the prompts

OR

  1. Log into APCU's Internet Branch
  2. Under the "Move Money" tab, click on "External Transfers"
  3. Select "Pay Other People" and follow the prompts

*External and Internal Transfers are only available on APCU savings and/or checking accounts where the primary member is 18 years of age or better. Transfers must be made to/from an account within the United States (US). A working internet connection is required for use. Charges from your wireless carrier may apply. APCU is not liable or responsible for any costs by other financial institutions incurred as a result of the funds transfer requests from/to such accounts submitted by you. There are transaction, daily, and monthly dollar amount limitations. View APCU's Fee Schedule for details. Members can only transfer funds to/from their APCU savings and/or checking account using these services. Transfers may be scheduled up to one year in advance. Transfer history is only visible for 90 days with External Transfers and for 180 days with Internal Transfers. External Transfer requests that are received by 7:00PM (EST), will process the next business day. External Transfer requests received after 7:00PM (EST), will take two business days to process. Internal Transfers are processed same day.

The next day payment request must be received by 1:00 PM (EST) for the payment to be processed the following business day. Standard payment requests must be received by 1:00 AM (EST). Payment history is only visible for 180 days.
